About Nanny at Home Chilminding
|
Nanny-at-home operates from a lovely detached home on the outskirts of Buntingford Hertfordshire.
Daily child care: is available from 7am ? 6pm. Evening care: is offered at your home from 7pm ? midnight On week days. Week-ends: are also available from 6.30pm ? 2am.

I am qualified in early childhood development and education, and work with the ?Birth to Three matters? framework to enhance my child care practice. In the recent OFSTED grading inspection I received 1 good and 4 outstanding reports.
I am registered to provide care for 6 children under the age of 5; however I do not usually care for more than 3 children at one time and I only contract 2 families. This enables me to develop child centred care plans to suit the individual child whilst also taking the needs of the whole family into consideration. I believe that child development happens best when everyone involved with your child work together. Through play and the exploration of everyday life your child will grow in emotional and intellectual strength. Your child will be encouraged to interact with the world whether by going for a rainy day puddle jumping walk, or, getting really messy with paint, glue, cake mix and pasta etc. Your child will be enabled to understand diversity of culture and objects by having positive role models who are committed to delivering equality of opportunity in every part of daily life. |
Your child will have a cot/bed that is just for them in a separate nursery room, and will enjoy peace, quiet and calm at some point in their day.(we hope!)
Your child will listen to all kinds of music and bash and strum instruments (no peace or quiet!) Your child will dance and sing and listen to stories, we will be birds one day and big giants the next. Your child will grow and eat vegetables (some even eat the sprouts) Your child will be covered in gue and other interesting stuff! And at the end of a play day at Nanny-at-home s/he will love to see you and sit with you in your home whist you read all about it in the daily diary that is written just for you.
